PSP Not Turning on :(

Well i have a 2.6 PSP and i was trying ot Downgrade it following this tutorial http://www.psp-hacks.com/downloads/Downg...%20-UPDATE-.pdf
And then i stopped at the part where your on the program adn it says you gottta have a red screen when you go to the photo menu, then i stopped took out my Memory card from the computer adn took the everything off and put the things i had on before adn now it wont turn on. some one please help i'm a total n00b

Was the memory stick flashing when you removed it from the psp?

I dont get what you mean by red screen, did you successfully downgrade your psp? And were you using the easy downgrader, or a manuel one?

The easy one, adn about step 3-4 it says your doen down grading your PSP adn turn it on adn go to the photo menu adn when you click on it a red screen should come one, then it kept freezing so i re tried, then the last tiem i put my mem card back in my Computer adn put back the original files on it

Ok let me set your straight, if you own a 2.6 psp then you were using the wrong downgrader. The one you were trying to do was the 2.71 and it wont work with firmware version 2.6. So if you tried to run the program, you might have bricked your psp. Try to take the battery out for a lil bit and turn it back on. I hope your psp isnt bricked, I dont think it is, but not sure.

Ok i'm a moron -.- the battery was dead adn thecharger was unplugged -.-. so if oyu could link me to a guide that ican Down grade my 2.6 to 1.5 that'd be nice

If you dont have a unpatched version of GTA:LCS then you should just update to firmware 2.71 and use the downgrader for it. It also has a easy downgrader which walks you through the process.

Hey Tyler I told you that I thought it was the Downgrader and you should upgrade to 2.71 FW , The battery was dead OMG , I think youy probably shat yo'self when you thought it was bricked.
