I have a fliptop installed with swap magic 3 and I have had it for about 2 years. It is starting to not read disks as much and it takes about 5-20 times to load the swap disk and/or the actual back up after it loads the swap disk. I have tried Q-tipping the laser lightly to clean it. I have used dvd laser cleaners and I have tried turning the white laser level dial to adjust for better reads. It doesn't really help. Some days it loads fine some days dioesn't load at all. Is there a really good laser cleaner out there that you guys would recommend? or any other ideas?

right on, I fianlly got it to go after messing with the white dial a 100 times... Man I wish they would make laser's easily replaceable. My NES still works flawlessly and look at the PS1 and 2. I know I modded it, but that shouldn't matter. I know people who have had to buy 2-3 ps2's because they just crap out.

The newer consoles today were built to be replaced unlike those of yesteryear (the more consoles that are sold by a company the more profit is made) The PS1 and PS2 are they only consoles that need replacing.
