that's about the best you'll get for the cash. it's a decent midrange compie, easily portable, but don't expect to do much gaming or lots of intensive tasks with any speed.

Looks ok to me. I don't have a problem with the AMD chip either. I would even say that AMD is better than intel.

Turion 64 is a great proc but gets hot quick, recommend to pick up a lapdesk with usb fans, trust me.
Every night has its day.
Even forever must come to an end....

no,not really.i would stick with the 1st one.just remember though dont expect any miracles with shared graphics.its limit is watching dvd movies.

some games do work fine with onboard graphics. just not the latest games.
that second one has too little memory (256MB)

i watch DVD movies on machines most of you lot would sniff at - ie P3 800 or P3 866 machines. with onboard video
