How to transfer digital video clips to dvd burner using nero.

I have an HP DVD840 burner and am using Nero software. I want to take video clips from my digital camera to a CD / DVD. I'm thinking it has to be a DVD... Could someone just walk me through how to do this. I'm looking for instructions like click __________ then click _________ etc. I've tried this several times without success. I want to make sure I'm picking the right kind of project. Thanks in advance for any help. Also I'm using HP DVD+R which burner paperwork says is supported.

you should put the video clips (avi's im guessing) on your HD then use Nero vision or some other video converting tool to convert to DVD movie if you want to put the video files on a DVD. and be able to play it on a standalone DVD player.

Thanks for that info... I have already downloaded my video clips from my digital camera to my computer. Nero software came with the DVD burner. I've gone through that process -- easy -- and get a "not transcoding" error. I was able to make a Data DVD with the video clips, but I want to be able to play it in a DVD player. Any ideas? I think my extention is .mov.

Use Nero vision to convert ur movie files to a dvd.Its a great program i use it all the time.
