Scrolling horizontal lines in backup games

I have tried backing up several games lately. 2 are Madden 07 and Lego Starwars 2. They backup fine but when I go to play the backup it has horizontal scrolling lines, is there a solution for this?

you're playing a PAL game on NTSC or viseversa (not 100% sure if NTSC on PAL also scrolls) do a search on the topic it's been covered many, many times before.

Yup! Can confirm it does sometimes. Other times its in black & white, and in extreme cases it can do BOTH!

ok i applied the patch and now it says insert a PS2 format disk, before the patch was applied it scrolled, so any ideas

here's an idea... It might be a little far fetched but I think it'll work. get the native region version of the games.
