can ne1 tell me the rare homebrew such as change the font of your psp or change the opening sound?u kno, the ones that arent that 'popular' n known of.cause i would like to have these on my psp

x-flash and x-flash is pretty popular. works well, I dont suggest using custom files of your own unless u first test them on emulated firmware, other then that, the custom files x-flash comes with work perfect. havent had a brick yet and dont think i will.

wat does xflash do? ii have a 2.71 psp and i have a 1.5 cause i use henB and devhook..will xflash still work with this type of 1.5?

oh ok i see what ur syaing. well u could swap out the emulated firmware files for custom firmware files to change fonts and whatnot. also do u got a guide for HEN cuz im trying to help my friend out with it and I dont know much about it considering I have never used it. All my psp's are 1.5.

No I didnt download it yet considering my psp's are all 1.5. So with HEN do you emulate 1.5 and then can u emulate 2.71 with devhook .46. How does it work. Im so clueless when it comes to this. Im gonna have to update one of my psp's to 2.71 and try it out. Also if you want some custom firmware files I can send you some to change the font and w/e else u want.

i would like that!!!!ok for wat the henB does and the devhook for 2.71 does is that hen(homebrew enabler) makes the devhook work..then by using the devhook u emulate 1.5 instead of 1.5 emulating 2.71.....but wen u put the psp to hard reset u will have to work the hen again...but u wnt have to if your psp is on sleep

well then whats the point of the HEN besides the fact you can run homebrew and emulate 1.5. I felt it was better to post here rather then start a new thread about it. Would u pm chaosnova and help him with setting it up. I'm clueless.

you can download a pre made font file and then switch it out on the memstick where the emulated firmware files are located.

k i sent caos MY guide...warn him thats its alot of text n that if he wants the 1.5 he should KEEP reading...i wrote down EVERY LIL thing

hey i got the guide now it looks little but wen i was typing it seems long

ok first download this 1.5 dump http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/8
now download this devhook http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/811
now finnaly download HEN rev B here http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/807

once u get those files install them to your psp mem stick... read the readme files on the hen

now in the 1.5 dump folder, copy all the things in there n in the devhook open up the folder called dh and click on 1.5 then paste the stuff in there.

now u should have in your mem stick /psp/photo/ and the photo in hen should be there....

in /psp/game u should have all those sample thingy n the three devhook folders. all the sample thingy by HEN u dnt need them but u will need all the devhook folders in GAME

in the ROOT of your mem stick u should have the following folders or files:

dh
h
patch
pspbtknf_game
systemctrl.prx
pspbtknf
pspbtknf_updater

once all this is finished unplug the usb n do the following:
hard reset the psp
now turn it on
go to the photos n click on the box thing named HEN
leave it there untill u see a green,blue screen
if the psp just shuts down then keep trying
currently the HEN is very unstable thats the reason for all this 'keep trying'
if a green screens pop on then wait till your psp reboots ane hard reset it
then again go to photo n click on HEN
keep trying it over n over untill u get a blue screen
once a blue screen pops up your psp should restart n turn on if not turn it on yourself

ALMOST FINISHED LMAO

now when u go to your game folder u should c two devhooks on the psp
choose the one that says somtin like devhook laucher for 2.71
now wait a little bit
a small purple screen should come up
click circle on firmware then click circle on 1.5
now click triangle n click ircle on start
wait a little bit and it should say [game cannot be started]
ignore that n now GUESS WAT
1.5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOW YOUR ALL SET
when u wanna go bac to 2.71 just hard reset your psp
