i have dark alex's POC custom firmware, and i also have x-flash and pspset.
how do i change the scrren when i turn my psp on.
also can someone tell me what differnece the dark alex firmware makes, i see none.

Download a gameboot.pmf from a place and then install it with X-Flash.. Remember it has to be "gameboot.pmf"
****NOTE:****
You have to delete the original and then set your custom on.
(It's best if you make a backup of your original gameboot on your PC)

i know how to change the gameboot, i want to change what happens when i turn the psp on not when i boot homebrew.

First flash ur PSP with harley G Fw and then use X-Flash or first test the font or gameboot in Dh 2.71 fw!U just place the gameboot in the X-flash folder inside that there is a folder called modified just paste ur gameboot or font there and name it as gameboot.pmf.I too flashed my PSP and its AWESOME I will be posting the pics soon
And whe u r n X-Flash disable the network update and change the icon names it will make ur PSP look cool!
Also u can change all the wallpapers to black or anyother wallpaper of ur choice.

I'm not sure, but i know that coldboot.vag (startup sound) is in opening_plugin.rco but i don't know exactly what can be done w/ that file, so ur kinda stuck w/ whatcha got man. (unless someone else know's something i don't about this)
