Help with HEN and PSP 2.71

I got the following guide from PSP junior, but I haven't had any luck in understanding half of what he said, if anyone could put this guide into simple terms (such as where to extract stuff) and so on, please do so.. I really want to play my PSP without taking the risk of downgrading it

My intention is to not downgrade my PSP from 2.71 to 1.5 (due to the risk of bricking), but rather to use a program that emulates this process, which junior told me I could do with those 3 programs and those instructions. His grammar was off, so I couldn't understand what I had to do.. so I need help with this process.

ok itold that i can help u but i need to send u the file then extract all the files except reame folder to ur memory stick.
then boot HEN but this freezes a lot,currently there is no fix in this but it's up to u to try.

Sorry guys, i COMPLETELY FORGOT to post the instructions he gave me... so here
ok first download this 1.5 dump http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/8
now download this devhook http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/811
now finnaly download HEN rev B here http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/807
once u get those files install them to your psp mem stick... read the readme files on the hen
now in the 1.5 dump folder, copy all the things in there n in the devhook open up the folder called dh and click on 1.5 then paste the stuff in there.
now u should have in your mem stick /psp/photo/ and the photo in hen should be there....
in /psp/game u should have all those sample thingy n the three devhook folders. all the sample thingy by HEN u dnt need them but u will need all the devhook folders in GAME
in the ROOT of your mem stick u should have the following folders or files:
dh
h
patch
pspbtknf_game
systemctrl.prx
pspbtknf
pspbtknf_updater
once all this is finished unplug the usb n do the following:
hard reset the psp
now turn it on
go to the photos n click on the box thing named HEN
leave it there untill u see a green,blue screen
if the psp just shuts down then keep trying
currently the HEN is very unstable thats the reason for all this 'keep trying'
if a green screens pop on then wait till your psp reboots ane hard reset it
then again go to photo n click on HEN
keep trying it over n over untill u get a blue screen
once a blue screen pops up your psp should restart n turn on if not turn it on yourself
ALMOST FINISHED LMAO
now when u go to your game folder u should c two devhooks on the psp
choose the one that says somtin like devhook laucher for 2.71
now wait a little bit
a small purple screen should come up
click circle on firmware then click circle on 1.5
now click triangle n click ircle on start
wait a little bit and it should say [game cannot be started]
ignore that n now GUESS WAT
1.5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOW YOUR ALL SET
when u wanna go bac to 2.71 just hard reset your psp

ok chaosnova this is what u do and this will not brick ur psp if ur psp is already updated to 2.71,ok let's get started,delete the files that u did from pspjunior or even better format ur memory stick either way after that download this file.
the file name is psp helping.7z,just click on it.

then extract all files inside to ur memory stick except the readme folder ok.then u boot HEN in ur psp.

Np, I figured it out myself after I tried win ace XD. But I have a question... it's now at 99% and it's been like 10 minutes and it's still extracting files.. is this normal, and if so, how long will it take?

OK, all was successful... I can see HEN in my photo, but I'm constantly trying to turn it on (10+ now).. but the screen turns black, then I have to turn it back on... how many more times must I do it? Also, do I have to do this process every time I want to play SNES games on my 2.71?

try this switch off ur psp then take out ur memorystick and the battery,wait for 15-30 secs then put everything back then switch on ur psp then go to photos then wait till it fully loads then then click on the photo.and no if u are using snes then u don't need to redo the process press home and exit snes.
don't reboot ur psp if u don't want to do the process again.
just put it on standby mode

dude it's weird as hell... before I saw the orange light blinking indicating that something is loading.... now there is no signal and it just freezes whenever I try to load HEN... thankfully I just need to hard reset it to get back to normal... I'm scared of trying mem/ bat thing

Guys, please help me... I think I came so damn close to bricking it right nwo.. the mem stick was loading and I shut it off.. the screen was black and the green light was blinking... will someone please tell me how to properly do this without any risks and how to make this process actually WORK!?

it's really not that hard..
first u need fw 2.71
then u go download dh umltimate installer and hen_c
xtract ur hen_c files and run the dh ultimate installer
hard reset ur psp by holding ur power button up
then turn it back on
go to ur photo menu and run hen_c
i heard hen_c freezes alot too but if it doesn't, the screen should turn blue....and then u wait until it loads again...now go to game -> memstick -> devhook port for fw2.71
and then select fw 2.71 and run wen ur devhook loads...
if ur psp freezes while ur trying to load hen_c just reboot it... if u've already installed it (ur psp screen turned green) i don't think u have to worry about bricing ur psp cuz it already wrote to ur flash

Me too. Im having the same problem. I just finished upgrading my psp to 2.71 (its a ta-082). I tried putting in the files like the guide that kealvalro but it didnt work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thx!
Edit: I been trying to get HEN to show the green/blue screen, it showed up once. At first it was blue for like 1 sec and then green but i *think* it shut down. I dont remember but I i still have to keep doing this?
