First do i need to burn my copy on a DVD or CD? What kind of DVD/CD? How much space is needed?

Depends if the game is a dvd based, or cd based game.

Well if it's a game mostley all games on the PS2 are DVD so you need DVD-R disks

And it usually tells you in the release name of what you're downloading. Eg; Greg_Hastings_Tour_Paintball_Max'd_USA_PS2DVD-GameOver
Also, once you extract the image file, if its a bin/cue then its a CD, anything else (normally iso) is likely to be DVD. Plus size obviously dictates what to burn to; a cd hold up to 700Mb of data, a dvd holds 4.35Gb
