If I have a downgraded PSP to version 1.5 do I need to have inserted the Memory stick i used when it was downgraded? I mean if I remove the MS will it still be 1.5? (reasons why I would remove it: use another one with higher storage capacity, format the MS, etc)

naw the firmwire is written to the flash in the psp so yes its safe to remove memory stick and use a higher one
