psp wont exit UMDs/apps :(

like the title say :( if im in a umd and i press home, it wont let me press left or right to select yes or no , the only way to exit the umd/app is by hard reboot, also on the part where you edit the psp's name the cursor just goes mad and moves to the left so you cant type :( any ideas guys, i did think of updating and downgrading again ? would this be any good ? all ideas are appreciated :)

yeah try updating then downgrading but first of try reinstalling devhook! does the cursor go mad when youve already loaded devhook or on 1.5 it self?

nothing to do with devhook lol, just wen im on 1.5 normally could it be a bad file in the dump that would cause this ? is it ? lol

hmm do you have any other homebrew apps insatlled it could be bad dumpss but cant really tell from here i think your best bet would be to upgrade and try a different downgrade from adifferent firmware to the one you initialy downgraded from

edit just wrote this to get u here quickly do not upgrade man the main problem i guess its this: format ms ...keep trying after this and i guess itll work once

i dont think there is any problem with upgrading then downgrading so if you downgraded withj 2.6 upgrade to 2.71 then downgrade shoulkd work!

ive fixed it now guys, the R trigger was stuck which made the typing go mad, and because it was stuck you were still playing the game while trying to press home ( if u know what i mean lol) so i took her apart, and everything is now fine, thanks guys

well youll sh!t yourself the first time, well i did, but i now repair them so its basic to me now, but when your operating on your own psp theres always that feeling something is going to go wrong lol

I know what you mean, thier is so much stuff that could go wrong while taking a PSP apart that you have no hope that everything could have went right.
