Psp goes black please help

i turn on my psp the green light shows and the screen is black and automatically turns of after 10 seconds what should i do my couin was playing with it and next thing i know he has messed it up.
I havent downgraded or anything so i dont think its bricked.
Please someone hep

do you have custom fiwmware installed ??
or a modchip ?

sounds like a brick...when you turn your psp on nothing happens but a green light that generally means brick. if u determine it is a brick then pm ill buy if it off you.

now the green light doesnt even turn on i have never downgraded or upgraded and neither has he. And i bought it as a 1.5 from china are u lot sure something else hasnt happened to it. And would sony fix it if i sent it to them?

If its bricked, jordan , do urself a favour and let the kid or guy or whatever, buy you another one because PSPs are not like toys, they are Valuable machines. Take it from me and tell him/her to buy you another one, or the parents or something.

I've always wondered this; in people's signatures "got a bricked psp ill buy it from oyu" Please explain what is so valuable about a bricked psp. I just wanna know. Thanks!

Yup, I still have a fat PSP
PSP life: 1.00 > 1.50 > 2.00 > 2.50 > 2.60 > 2.71 > 2.81 >> 1.50 > 3.03 OE-C > 3.52 M33-3 > 3.90 M33-3 > 5.00 M33-6 - Trying to go back to 3.90 M33-3 but no one will help me :(
By the way my PSP is BRICKED if any nice person wants to help revive my psp please message me or answer one of my threads.

1. Great people like " Hex " actually take out some parts like the screen to use on a nother PSP
2. People can buy another motherboard and use the PSP, save yourself alot of money buying a brand new 1
3.They buy new mobos for the PSPs and just sell them.

exactly... this is has happened to alot of ppl tlkin bout they let there friend borrow it or play with it or somtin n it ends up bricked. wen letting somone play your psp make shure you're there

Jordan25, did you try taking the psp battery out?, if not, try taking the psp battery out and leaving it out for about an hour and then try it.
I say this because, when I loaded devhook for the first time and tried to run an iso, the screen just frooze when I hit start in devhook.
I thought my psp was bricked because this lasted for ages and even when I powered the psp on/off it was still the same.
Took the battery out for awhile and to my joy the psp started up.
Not sayin it's gonna work for you but anything is worth a try at this stage right?

And whats this i heard about installing flash files or something will fixed it.

Ill buy the individual screen from you if you dont want it anymore. Hex, are u sure u dont have a screen to sell me? Cant u just take it out fo the many bricked PSP's you have?
I buy bricked psp's and screens.
