I am trying to downgrade my psp to 1.5 and my current version is 2.70 do i have to upgrade to 2.71 for the downgrade to work and i have tryed to download the upgrade into my psp/game folder but i cannot open the file on my psp to install the software for the 2.71 upgrade can anyone help

Syro, I told you, do you have a TA-082 Motherboard? If you dont, upgrade to 2.71. From there, you can downgrade to 1.5.
