Hi I am a newbie with torrents. 2 days ago i didnt eaven know what they are but thatnks to my great computer understanding and of cours this great forum i was quite able to adapt to it now my question is i started to download torrents using bittorrent i read some guides and found out is sucked and i was getting like 10kb/s on it so i switched over to bitlord and i opened my ports and everything so i got like an overall speed of like 70kb/s noe i want make it clear my downloads are like going around the 30kb/s region and if you add them up i get arounf 70kb/s so i started to hear that Azureus is the best or at least in the top 3 of every guide so i switched to it i still have bitlord but for some reason im getting slower speeds with Azureus right now overall speeds are azureus:dl=55.9kb/s ul=14.5kb/s
bitlord:dl=154kb/s ul=18kb/s
i am using different ports and yes they are open i know about the whole seeder and leecher thing and i am downloading of demonoid it is a private tracker so all i need now is speeeed!! well any help will be greatly appreciated once i finish downloading my first files i will need help so i can find out how to be a good seeder but for now i just need speed and if there is any other good private tracker please tell me as i am trying to fill a hdd with torrents so i can seed to ppl. thank you

ERICKO123, I too haven't understood your question, but it seems your qeurie has somthing to do with speed's & seeding :-S

sorry about the cofusion please check if this is legible............ my problem: i started to hear that Azureus is the best or at least in the top 3 of every guide so i switched to it i still have bitlord but for some reason im getting slower speeds with Azureus right now overall speeds are azureus:dl=55.9kb/s ul=14.5kb/s
bitlord:dl=154kb/s ul=18kb/s
my speed with Azureus is always half of my speed with bitlord. i have been reading posts that people with a dsl speed of 1.5mbps are getting to overall download speeds from 200kb/s to 300kb/s my question is how do i get to that speed the highest i have ever gotten with bitlord is 140kb/s
and yes i too have a dsl capable of 1.5mbps
