I can play uncompressed umds - been using devhook for that
I am having difficulty playing compressed one's...please inform me of how i can play them? I've tried several different compressed umds...can't get them to work...these include Pursuit force, gangs of london, GTA lib stories, race driver 2006
no luck so far and i've exhausted the FAQs...im obviously missing something quite obvious here

the only compressed format u can play with devhook is cso. is that the loader youre using?

For compressed files use UMD emulator and MPH loader 2.00 for 1.5 to make compressed iso's work. For unconpressed one use devhook. I have learned so much ever since I have jointed this forum! :D

PSP life: 1.00 > 1.50 > 2.00 > 2.50 > 2.60 > 2.71 > 2.81 >> 1.50 > 3.03 OE-C > 3.52 M33-3 > 3.90 M33-3 > 5.00 M33-6 - Trying to go back to 3.90 M33-3 but no one will help me :(

UMD Emulator wont load newer games and neither will mph game loader. Devhook will load up to 2.71 requiring games. It will run ISO and CSO file formats/

so basically devhook is the best? I've tried converting my ISO compressed games into CSO...but that still hasn't worked! :(
can you run more than one loader on the memory stick at once? can't seem to be able to do that?

So then how come GTA and Locoroco work with UMD Emulator? (GTA requires 2.6 and Locoroco requires 2.71)

you can run more then one....just not at the same time. devhook is pretty much at the top of loader pyramid. if your cso's arent working it could be because your not doing it right. make sure you're not converting them as dax. they do work tho cuz i have quite a few of cso's that i run on my psp.

then the dev must have updated it because it only use to be able to load 2.0 games at the most. or its a good possibility someone did a prx swap on the game to make it run on 2.0.

hex more then like lee they did swap the prx and also dcp keep in mind not all the gta games are the pached 2.6 one's like the two i have they are 2.0

yeah most if not all of the iso's you find for gta lbc are version 2.0 i just ordered anouther one i hope its a 2.0 something tell's me they might be worth something one day lol
and dcp you have a white psp 2?

so you can have 2 loaders on your memory stick...and use either of them to load umd's? how do you install them since some of the folders overlap?
i like devhook, and would like to use that for everything i have...how do i make my compressed iso's work on there? what converter shall i use to get them into cso's??

I think it looks fine with the white buttons, but its your choice :P
@don_shabz, get the devhook ultimate installer 1.1.1 and check the option that says "ciso and daxiso" or something like that and at the root of you memory stick there should be an iso compressor.

yeah im not sure i might keep my white ones and dont worry don since the name of the app's are diffrent they wont overlap each outher so go ahead and install any thing you want my fav besides devhook would be fastloader mainly for its umd dump

I have a 2gig card...I've decided...I'm only gunna load uncompressed games!! I can't be bothered with all this messing around, plus if cso's dodgy then I'd rather just have 1 or 2 games on my card at once than 2 or 3...only takes 5 mins to change the game anyway :)
Reckon one of you guys could pm me a good source of uncompressed umds? :D

ok im giving it one last shot...using the CISO tools given with devhook...now waiting to convert my pursuit force ISO into a CSO...then load it up as usual right?
if this doesn't work...i'll pull my hair out lol
