How long does it "die" for? It could be ISP bottlenecks. Some service just sucks. Check out DSLreports for info on your ISP and how they serve your specific area.
A very common problem with routers is also that they choke. Netgears are especially bad at this. As ISPs gradually increase the download speeds (my ISP bumped us from 4 mbps to 6mbps over the course of a year) some equipment just can't take it. Older Linksys wired routers just crash; Netgear and most others will reset themselves as evidenced by test lights, etc. coming on. Look for this behavior on your router. Although a firmware upgrade will occasionally help, usually you have to buy a new one. If you do, get a D-Link and, unless you absolutely need wireless, get a wired one only.

-Since half the questions here involve media problems, here ya go: Only use Verbatim or Taiyo-Yuden discs (get your TYs from Rima.com, not Supermediastore or meritline). Forget the rest, no matter what "brand" they sell under. Always burn at 4x speed regardless of the speed rating of this discs or your drive. If you have burn problems with these then you have to update your drive's firmware. For double-layer discs, only use Verbatim DVD+R DL and burn them at 2.4x speed.
My router, will go down for a few minutes or seconds..depending on "i dont konw" http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=WR214-C&cat=NET that is the router i bought, after it goes down and dosent comeback up for a few, i have to go downstairs and unplug and plug it back in...
I have Comcast and live in the Maryland
Also, i was wondering, if i have wireless-B (no money to upgrade to G) and i get a wireless G router, will the B adaptors still work or do i have to make a full upgrade?

Sounds like it just can't handle the WAN speeds. A very common problem, unfortunately. And also unfortunately, your only real remedy is what I already covered in my last post. At least when the Ns come out the Gs will be cheap.
