Hello,

I want to make a backup of Kingdom Hearts 2[PAL] But I can't get it to work.
I use DVD Decryptor MODE>ISO READ, MODE>ISO WRITE method and burn it at 4x but it says "Invalid PS2 Disc". Im using SM 3.6 to boot it.
I have tried it on verbatim, DVD-/+R but it still doesnt work. Also It's call DVDIMAGE.ISO would this change anything when writing it to the disc? Also it says that its burning it as DVD DAO. Should it be DVD SAO?

[PS] I have also tried burning it with ImgBurn but it still doesnt work.

Any help would be great. Thanks

UPDATE: I got it working. But it takes a while to load and it freezes when I Go to start a new game. (at the starting movie). Is there a way to stop it from doing this?

Try using better media, like Taiyo Yudens or Verbatims. That's usually where the problem lies with freezing, skipping, and long load times.

How fast are you burning it at? Also, you might want to consider rebuilding it.

I wonder why so many people recently are having such problems with KH2 lately. Use Alcohol 120%. Super easy, no rebuilding required.

I think it wasn't working because I had flashed my burners firmware. So I changed it back to the factory default firmware and it worked.

What method did you use with Alcohol 120% ?

@BludRayne

You know you're really not helping. We all know how to rip and burn games. The problem is why people can't get their discs to work. I'm sure people have been using alcohol or DVD Decryptor to make their back ups. Not everyone's PS2 is the same as yours, so just because you didn't have any problems with your copy, doesn't mean that other people won't.
