Hi My Name is Sameen, this is the first time i've started a forum conversation so dont let me down.

anyways i was wondering if anyone knows how to get Def Jam Fight For New York Te Take Over, working on the UMD emulator 0.8c on Version 1.5.

Please if anyone is out there that can help me then listen, read rather.

Ive got the ISO file for Def Jam on the PSP in the correct place (ISO folder) everything is correct. I go to the icon on my psp for the UMD emulator and load it. It loads, everything's fine up to now.
Def Jam is on the list so i go to it i load it and it loads the PSP sign thing comes up as usual and then it suddenly goes back to the Main PSP menu and it says "game could not be started FFFFFED3" and thats it.

By the Way the settings for the UMD emulator on my PSP are set to
CPU/Bus speed : 222/111 MHz
ISO emulation mode : direct load
Disc type ISO : game
Disc type UMD : game
updater icon : remove
Use boot.bin : on
Region code override : off which disavles the next 3 options.
Flash0 emulation : off
Flash1 emulation : off

Is that correct is there anything wrong with them settings or do i have to do something to the Def Jam ISO file.

Please im desperate this things F*****G P****G me off.
Please help me anyone.
Please let me know what im doing wrong.
I'll be forever gratefull.

the prx file's are files that can be changed to make a iso game work on a diffrent firmwire say you dump a game with 1.51 firmwire requiments then you wanna play a game that need's 2.6 you can just switch em and your good to go

but this process is out dated lol anouther psp relic

UMD Emulator is obsolete now. There is no need to have it on your memory stick. Dev Hook is all you need. Are you sure you have your dev hook settings correct? Have you successfully run anything with it?

No one has given me the correct settings for Devhook 0.46

Anyway i wanted to say ive got 3 game (Virtua tennis, Dynasty Warriors and NFL Street 2 Unleashed) as iso files and these games are literaly S**t and as u will notice these games are crap but as well as that, they are relatively old i was wondering could that be the reason why these games are working and the new games are not. please add me if u can tell me wot im doing wrong. By the way these were the first three games i downloaded but after that i cant seem to get any other game working ive tried them on both UMD emulator and devhook 0.46 the (latest one).

Has anyone got any recommendations because this is really getting anooying and disappointing.

they work cuz they're older gamers, requiring less checks or codecs. (why UMD Emulator works)

you might have to try different settings in devhook to get some games to work.

-remove your email, that's against forum rules.

if the file names a .rar or .001, .002, and so on and so forth right download WinRAR. right click 1 of the files and hit extract here. if extract here doesnt show then right click and hit open with. point it to WinRAR and then hit the extract button once the main WinRAR screen opens up.

they were right above me but any way when you get a folder with a lot of files with number1 to 20 or what ever all you have to do is ectract the number 1 file and it will become the full iso my advice extract it to your desktop that way it will be more easy to find
