compressing isos

what is the best way to compress isos. I only ask cos i used umddumper to get an iso of one of my games i have on UMD, iused the compressor that came with daxziso and tried to load that with daxziso, it just had a blank screen and would not load. i also tied the same thing with psp iso shrinker it still did not load. When i first got the iso it was around 800 MB, when i compressed it is ended up about 200 MB. i have tried it on differnet compression levels.
can somone tell me what i am doing wrong or suggest other ways to compress my isos.

use the iso compresser to compress it into ciso,as devhook plays ciso and iso games,try that see how you get on.

i have tried it on level nine, it seen to be the same result everytime, stevenps2 which iso compressor do you mean

cant seem to load up psp hacks so if you can search for iso compresser i use the 1st version.

what do you use to load your cso/iso.
do you mean this programme

thats the new one i think,well aslong as theres an option to convert to ciso it'll be fine.
to load ciso files just use devhook 0.46 it plays them fine.

yeah, it works.
btw is there any way to play my isos/cso without a umd in the drive

not on newer versions of devhook,the older ones did but wont load new games so just stick with having a umd in to save the hassle.
