How do you run emu/roms on a HENC'd 1.5 PSP?

Guys, i was very happy because I managed to get 1.5 using HENC... for those who did or did not do this but may have experience... is there any possible way to get an SNES emulator on HENC and play it? I tried the same emulator 4 times, but it comes up as corrupt data... I know I extracted it correctly

Hm..can you upload the emulator files? I want to give it a go but im kinda scared to brick my psp (its a ta-082 rmember?). But try this, when your emulating 1.5, just open up the emulator and see if it works.

Well, i dont play the emulators becuz i havent found any lol. But i being play the 1.5 homebrew games and some of them are awesome.
Edit: Try Snes9x TYL. its cool but kind of lags when you emulate to 1.5 tho.

Joker I really , REALLY don't understand what you're saying... post a download for what you're talking about... are you talking about non- brand name games (custom games made by normal people)? If so paste it please

What i meant to say was that I didnt play roms because i didnt have any emulators. I only played homebrew games but then i got Snes9x TYL. You have snes9x right? Because i swear i saw a thread about it like an hour ago..

Wait, what do you mean by you only played homebrew games.. aren't homebrew things like SNES and stuff? Or is homebrew custom made games by other people? If so, can you link me to some that are fun? thanks

Also, when you got that SNES, it didn't work right? If you did get it to work, please list all the steps you did to make it work, cuz it isn't working for me

Ya, homebrew is custom made, snes is an emulator but its still custom made lol.
How to run the emulator:
Make sure you have the file, if you dont, heres the link: http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/488
1. Connect the usb to your psp and pc
2. Go to Settings > USB Connection
3. Go to My Computer > Open up your memory stick > go to PSP:/GAME/
4. Open up the RAR file, open the 1.5 folder and move both of the folders to the /GAME folder
5. Go to Photo > HEN C, you must get the blue screen! When you get it, itll restart by itself. If you dont get it or it freezes, do it again.
6. Then go to Game > Devhook Launcher 2.71 Port > Firmware > select 1.5 > then select start
7. You'll get an error, its should say "The game could not be started (80010002)", then go to Game > Snes9xTYL 0.4.2, start it and the you should get a movie
Read what it says on there, after you agree, you can add roms to the emulator. Click the Right button on the top and USB activated should show up. Hook up the usb and add the roms to the PSP:/GAME/snes9xtyl/roms/ folder.
You can also run homebrew games like the way it did it. You just change some of the process ;)

Joker, the only difference in what you and I did was when we extracted the files. I had done what you said with the USB and WinRAR, but I'd done it when the PSP was in 1.5 mode already, I don't have time today to do it again, but tell me, do you have to extract the files to PSP/GAME first, then run HENC, firmware 1.5, then click on SNES to make the emulator work? So all in all, you're saying that I can play SNES on my PSP?

By the by... do you realize that is for users with 2.0+ (>= 2.60)(what does that mean).... will it still work with HENC and 2.71?

What is so 2.0+ users? The emulator or the roms? Well, ya, thats how you have to do it because i havent found another way to do that. Yes, it WILL WORK. Because i have tried it! If i didnt, i wouldnt of posted the instructions. And yes, you do have to extract the files then test it out or else it wont work. Joker, I just tried what you told me to do with SNES TYL 3 and it didn't work. Boht TYL 3 and 4 show up as corrupt data... can anyone PLEASE help me with this! I want to play homebrew

Are you people on these forums such big assholes? I mean come on! I know people who have HENC and can run homebrew or have had some experience with it have looked at this thread, but haven't helped out. Why the hell would you be so snobby and not help? Are you just so greedy that you don't want anyone else to have emu/roms? Well you're just screwed up in the head... so can someone please friggin' help instead of just looking at the thread!?

What he it trying to say is with 2.71 firmware, you emulate 1.50 and launch homebrew lik you would if you had a 1.50 PSP

chaosnova... talking like that should get you banned, are you a total prick or just practising. First I suggest you learn how to use this forum then learn how to be polite. Nobody here has to help you and the way your carrying on I'm suprised anyone has. The instruction are very clear, if you are unsure of a term used by someone try doing a google search to find out what it means. Try using your own brain from time to time, if you can find it.
