The question is in the title: Can I upgrade to 2.71 then downgrade to 1.5 if I have TA-082 Motherboard?

I want to know whether I can do that so that I can play ISO's, If I can't do so I want to know if there is a way to play ISO's on a TA-082 MoBo.

no downgader for ta80s, but there is a devhook for ta80s that has at least fw 2.71 and will let you at least trick your psp into thinking its a 1.5, so then you can play isos and shit!@ urwelcome!

There is no need to down grade now, cause you can now play ISO/CSO backups on any PSP with v2.71 and just emulate 1.5 when needed.
even with TA-082.

I pesonally found the first less confusing and it does a clean install without the extra stuff you dont need. now just dont be retarded and upgreade to 2.80+ cause god knows when those will be cracked. enjoy

One more thing is there any (even 1 percent) chance of this bricking my PSP?

BTW I'm currently dling NBA Live 07, will this game work in 2.71 or will I be forced to update to 2.80? Even though I won't. Just asking.

ok, so i can load iso/cso with the hen exploit for 2.71, and i tried the 1.5 emulation and it worked too but what uses does that have (emulating 1.5) if i can already load isos/cso? like, when devhook for 2.80 comes out, could you emulate 1.5 then run that new upcoming dev and play 2.80+ games?? (I don´t really care for any other homebrew programs, just wanna load isos baby)
