PSP Doesn't Recognize 2GB Memory Stick

Hello,

I have just bought a second hand Sony High Speed 2GB Memory Stick from Amazon, and it looked fine, and it says on the packaging that it works with the PSP, now I had put it in my PSP and the PSP doesn't seem to recognise it. I have tried formating the stick but it comes up with 'There is no Memory Stick insterted' My other Sony Memory Stick which is 512MB works fine and is found everytime. Please don't say this is a fake one, although if it is I can still get a refund so it isn't all bad. My PSP firmware is 2.71 and I'm really hoping it will still work.

This was the card that I bought and it was under the Used And New list and was sold by the seller BroodJohn, and he's still selling the things!
