Trying to backup PS2 games...not working

I have been backing up my games since 2004 when I got my Pioneer DVD Burner.

Today I was trying to backup using ImgBurn and it just doesnt work.

Everything else I burn works (music, back up movies, data).

I turned all other programs off and still...

Please help me out!

Of course it is :P

I just read teh thread on media (dvds) and it says that Memorex arent very good (the ones im trying to burn onto).

The thing is ive been burning onto Memorex DVDs evers since I got my dvd burner.

Could they have become worse in quality?

The only thing I notice different now is that it says 8x writing compatibilty and the ones I used before were 4x.

Are Sony dvd-rs good? thinking of picking some up at walmart.

yes sony DVD-R are good... i got some sony DVD+R from walmart before so be on the lookout... umm yea probably your media.. i have some taiyo yuden and verbatims.. and they work almost all the time.. butn at 2x - 4x.. also is your burner old? i had to finally replace my dvd burner with a new one..

My burner is from fall 2004.

I hope it isnt the burner.

Hardware.

I just bought some Sony DVDrs and the backup works perfectly now.
