going to hack my psp ..after alot of reading and posts on here thanks .have i got it right???...first i will upgrade my 2.60 to 2.71..then downgrade to 1.50 and then install devhook 0.45.to play my psp iso files is this right before i start..many thanks again

if u dont see the ic1003 like shown in this pic then your fine. upgrade to 2.71 and then downgrade.

Devhook doesnt always play all the isos, to be sure, get UMD Emulator as well.

umd emulator is going to play less iso files then devhook. umd emulator can only play iso files up to firmware 2.0 or unless someone swapped prxs on them. devhook will play ANY ISO file as long as it was ripped correctly and untouched.

Hes kinda got a point. But then again I used the ultimate installer just because I found it more useful then the manual approach. Plus with the ultimate installer you have more options pertaining to installing custom things with devhook as with the manual approach you have to do everything yourself. Nothing wrong with that but when I'm trying to use my devhook or intall files I want to use the shortest most concise route. After all who likes to wait.
