Will GBA games with a .GBA extension work with M3 pass card 3?

Hello i read mr hankys guide and it said .DS.GBA and .DS extensions work on the M3. How about .GBA games?

Also what is the difference between .gba and .ds.gba

.ds.gba is not a typo, but rather an extension compatible with DS that is used much more frequently for homebrew than for commercial roms

Oh ok, So Gameboy advance commercial games have a .GBA extension??
and Gameboy Advance homebrew games have .DS.GBA extension??

And will both extensions work with the M3lite and Passcard3???
