Hi all. I stepped on my PSP accidentally a while back, and the screen cracked. I finally came around to getting a new LCD screen. Last night my friend installed it, and worked fine, but had some dust inside the screen. He took it apart again to clean it out, but when he put it back together, the PSP only has Audio, but nothing shows up on the LCD screen. You can hear everything, but see nothing. Need some help as to what to do. We thought it was the new screen at first, but the old screen does the same.

make sure the ribbon for the lcd is seated properly in the connector. hopefully you didnt damage the motherboard when you stepped on it.

I've never torn a psp, apart but it sounds like a connection came loose on the lcd, just take it back appart, and make sure its all hooked up.

I know it's not the new LCD cuz the old one does the same thing. the old one is cracked, but it works

Really? Darn. Cuz when my boy put in the screen, it worked. Its when he took it back out to clean the screen, the video didn't come back on...
