ok so i get a folder off a torrent tracker and the folder has like 10 parts of a split file. i use hj join to rejoin the parts and i get a file, then i use WinRAR to unzip it, but then it says: "You need the following volume to continue extraction: a-sfa3mx.r00 . Insert a disk with this volume..."

and i don´t have said xxxxx.r00 volume, what am i doing wrong? or is the torrent simply incomplete? it has happened 3 times already with 3 different games so that makes me think that maybe it is not incomplete i'm simply doing something wrong

u dont need need hj join or watever it is called. u can simply use WinRAR to join the rar files. if there is more then 1 rar or some file with the extension .001, .002, .003, use WinRAR.
