I need to be able to burn VCD at 4x, but the nero option only goes to 8x. I was wondering is there anyway to lower that, or is there any other burning programs that I should try???

I think 8x is actually fine for a VCD burn, however I have Nero Express and it does allow 4x burning. I dont know why the full software doesn't support it, but you could just download express.

Your burner might not be able for 4x but yes 8x should be fine there isnt really much difference, besides its only really from 16x up that problems seem to begin!
