i had the same problem. but i also have another drive on my computer, so i put it in the dvd drive. its named Liteon DVD-ROM LTD 163 and then converted. Also how alot of people are saying that you can only do this with a cd that you personally bought from the store, there wrong because i used a mix cd that i burnt with Windows Media Player and it worked fine. After i converted the files i plugged in the psp with the usb cable, clicked removable disc in my computer then clicked the psp folder and from there the SAVEDATA folder, and in that folder made another folder called ULUS10041CUSTOMTRACKS and dragged and dropped the converted files in that folder. once thats done(it only takes a few seconds)start the game and go to the menu and go to audio and switch the custom tracks on. if the music you put on it is downloaded it wont tell you what song it is but thats not that big of a deal.

hope it helps.
