I'm tired. Tired of reading all of the dvd this and dvd shrinks and the dvd clones, etc, etc,many of which are involved with this website that all talk about how they work with anything. I've bought them all and the only one that still works most of the time is dvd xcopy. Say what you will, post what you will, I have no vested interest in any of these products except for my own well being and the well being of my dvd's that I'm trying to back up. I've backed up hundreds if not thousands for my own personal use. I've only probably watched about 30 of them. If anyone out there has the secret to the combination of these products that will back up the Sony's and Disney's and the new Season 2 of Lost... please let me know. I'm not an idiot but I must be doing something wrong with the Sony's and Disney's and Lost's. Please don't respond with, "What type of media are you using?" or "What type of burner do you have?" or "What did you eat last night for dinner?" because none of that makes very much difference unless you're using an 8 track tape with an Atari 3600 and Donkey Kong. It's not any of these. I've used 10 different kinds of dvd-r's and 5 different burners all with the same positive and negative results. It's the movies and only the movies. Does anything other than x-copy really work? I'm tired. DVD BURNERS UNITE!

There is no need to buy anything.The combination of DvdFab+Vob Blanker (on occasion)+ Dvd Shrink+ (any burning program i use Nero) will do any dvd you want to back up. I have bought no programs and the only program i will ever consider buying is AnyDVD to save a bit of time.

haha yeh that would suck for him. i have to admit i have got the real copy watched it, then burnt me a copy and havent watched my copy yet. All though i do stick in the player to make sure they work. Would Want To Be Stupid Now Would I. :) Damn This Noob Title Cant Post Nutin, 3 Mins Is A Long Time.I Demand The Gods To Fix This!

DVDFab Decrypter (free) does absolutely everything out there (so far), then all i use is DVD Shrink. can't get much easier than that (i rarely even have to use Voblanker etc). If it's a movie that would lose too much quality using DVD Shrink, i just watch the original, can't get much easier than that either

When I read your first post in this thread there is nothing that tells us that this is a pure burning related problem. Instead you talk about copy protection issues and programs that don't work.
Not even sure why you post in the DVD Shrink forum about a burning problem with Nero as you stated that DVD Shrink was not a good program.
1. Update Nero (will not help you)
2. Update the firmware (could help you)

Well This is what works for me.
1 AnyDVD and Nero Recode
2. AnyDVD, Shrink, and Nero to burn
3. DLs and SLs ImgBurn to build and burn ISO to DLs and SLs media
4. Actually AnyDVD and DVD XcopyXpress still works
5. AnyDVD and DVD Decrypter to rip and any of the above encoders to finish.
6. AnyDVD's own ripper and any of the above encoders to finish.
Shrink and Decrypter will still do some without AnyDVD helping.
I have not needed to try the free way with DVD Fab or ripit4me. Everyone using these, seems to be having success.
Most people having problems are usually having hardware problems, software conflicts, or user error ones! If the programs didn't work, people wouldn't be using them in the numbers they are. Why didn't you stick with what you got positive results for?
And from the tone of your original question, I could care less if you ever get it sorted.

well i just got bashed on a forum fun stuff. my first post told him exactly what he needed to get around copy protections. guess he just happened to skip that reply i made. was same thing creaky told him to do a little later after my post. cant see how mine wouldnt helped him. Guess ill go buy 6 more bags of chips and cry. :)

Didn't mean to tread on your toes w/ this character Creakster , but felt he was not deserved of posting nonsense .. which it was.
