im very new with the psp( getting mine in 3 days) i was reading around and i read that you can web browse but you need wipeout pure.
is there any other way now? other than wipeout pure?

yeah u can download devhook and emulate firmware 2.71 and use the web browser in that firmware.

don't worry, u don't need devhook or wipeout pure if u have a firmware over 2.00 which u will have no matter what.
U just need a wireless router. The web browsing feature will come already installed in the psp so u don't have to worry about it.

but who wants 2.0. especially when u can have 1.5 and 2.71. hopefully ur psp will be downgrade compatible tho. or there is always HEN.

thats good..just dont worry about it untill u get the psp...tell us your questions there because almost qnything is possible now...do u live in canada?if u do and u are buying it from future shop or wal mart then theres a good chance its going to be a 2.5 or 2.6 ta-082

It should do most access points/routers seem to work.I have connected to many and browsed the net for free while just walking around the streets where i live.

Cool just make sure you setup a password and user name for it so only you can configure it plus put in a wep/wpa code to keep it encrypted or you might find half your neighbourhood sharing your internet connection lol.Good luck m8 ;)
