I have read so many forums regarding all of this 2.71->1.50 DOwngrading, Devhook, Firmware emulation guides, and have a question. I have a 2.71 PSP, and want to use this Devhook thing, to play 1.5 things, as well as keep the ability to play 2.71 games, and run Iso's and such of my old games....can someone tell me which is the easiest and safest method to follow?...like which guide should I use to take me from start to finish?...theres so many and Id love an unopinionated answer as to which would help me out...Thanks much!

well if you have a ta-082 psp then HEN and the devhook port would be the way to go as u cant downgrade. If your psp doesnt have the ta-082 motherboard then downgrading would be the way to go. and ur questions werent noobish. they were valid and to the point. noob people run around in circles. beginner would be a better term.

Cool, "Beginner" it is...this woul dbe my first attempt at running this hardcore a homebrew/hack lineup...Ill admit Im nervous about losing my PSP...I take it everywhere.

My PSP is NOT at TA082...so you think I should downgrade to 1.5 (using the Downdater thing I think it was?) Then Install Devhook 0.47....Thanks much...Ill give it a go monday I think....please let me know if i overlooked something....;)

Well downgrading is all up to you. But If I were you I would do it. Dont take my work for it tho becuz there is always a chance of bricking.
