i just recently got the spectral souls iso and converted it to cso but it doesn't seem to play on my devhook .46. It freezes at "we hope you enjoy this idea factory game" and on the bottom left hand it says disc reading. this is weird and help would be appreciated!

no it doesn't even show up when i switch to it.
but it shows up on the cso
weird?

yea thats very weird. did you put the iso on ur psp. cold reboot it then see if it shows up.

yeah i put the cso in first and when it froze i deleted it and tried the iso. Both i put in the ISO folder.
tsk sorry but what's cold reboot?

when u hold the power switch up for 3-10 secs to completely shut it down. or else it goes into sleep mode.

ok now the iso shows up, but it freezes at the exact same spot as with the cso. i've tried with 2 different files already. maybe it's my bad luck that i got 2 bad isos?

yeah could be there is so many bad rips on the net nowadays. what version of devhook are u using BTW

I would recommend breaking the ISO apart w/ UMDGen and rebuilding w/ VcdromX. That tends to be the fix for all games.

I bought Miami Vice for PSP and couldn't get it to work for the life of me... I couldn't understand what teh problem could've been. Then I tried rebuilding the ISO w/ VcdromX and it worked like a champ.

Try it. You never know.

that's cool ill give it a shot, but i'm not sure what this rebuilding iso thing is. That would be great if you can explain it to me
