Sorry if this is an old question, but I could not find a clear answer by any obvious search!
Is there a cheap (or even free) tool which I can use to rip Panasonic DVD-RAM recordings to HDD? I know that TMPGEnc or Ulead would do it but they are a bit pricey. I have Roxio which does everything else I need to do, so I just need a ripper.

do you have DVDDecrypter? you can get it here:

this will rip to the hard drive, and here is a great free program to called RipIt4Me, just download the programs and follow the guide:
