strange problem!

i seem to have a really strange problem..

I have stripped all streams so there is only english audio and no subs. the vobs are still too big...i cut the credit off the end on the last vob using vob splitter , couldnt do this with vobedit as other bit of the film was within the same cell id..
I reset the sector in ifoedit and played it in ifoedit and it plays no problem. When i took it home to play it on dvd player (Standalone) it just skips through each chapter and it is just a blank screen.

What am i doing wrong.

did you "get VTS sectors" after you edited it. Also dont forget to save or else it will not work.

i did that today and yes it did need doing...i am gonna give it another bash tonight.. one thing is though cause i split it ...somewhere in the ifo it says sector error...cant remember where...will this cause the problem ?
