Ok. I have a 1.5 Psp. I want to run a iso. Nfs: Most Wanted. I'v seen people say use Dev hook 0.46. Got Devhook on my psp. I can run Orig Umd's to emulate 2.71 Firmware. Basically i'v spent ages looking how to run iso's. Could anyone just put it in simple words for me to understand and get on with it.! Gratefull if anyone can help me.

if u have devhook installed succesfully there should be a folder that says ISO...and then a file inside saying put ur ISO/CSO here...copy and paste your games there...
then go to mem card...then choose first option in devhook...then UMD select...choose your game, dont mess with the setting and press start...should work...
(can't get mine to work still though!!!)

Thanks for ur Reply. Ok when i installed it i did'nt get any folder Called Iso. Where is it suppossed to be? I made one my self. and put the game in there. But Devhook emulates 2.71 fine. Right so could you tell me whcih devhook is best to install and where i can get it from with instructions. Gratefull for help. Thanks!

Ok, first off, make sure that the ISO folder is in the root of the memory card. Now go on your psp, and go into devhook. click on UMD Select, and select the iso that you put into the ISO folder. Now click on Firmware, and select 2.71. (NOT 2.71(NANDFLASH), just plain old 2.71). And then click start. Now, you should be on 2.71. Make sure there's a umd in the psp. Once the umd is in, go to GAME, and instead of the game thats in the psp, it'll be the iso.
If you have more than one iso, and you want to switch, just go to the main menu of the psp, click and hold the home button, and then click L and R. And it'll switch the iso. Good luck!

Ye. When i go to the iso it brings up nothing. The writing sort of flashes and just stays there???

Wait, so when you try and play the iso it doesn't work? Well if so, then the iso you have might just be a bad one. Try redownloading it, or try unzipping it again and see if it works then.

Right? It's Nfs: Most wanted. It should be the Full md as it said. Am i doing this right? I have dev hook. Ther was no iso folder so i made one and put the files for Nfs:Mw. I put the Psp_Game and Umd_Data files in there? Then tried to use it......

Ohh, now I see the problem. When you unzipped it, you unzipped it too much. Go back to the zip file, and instead of just extracting the Psp_Game and Umd_Data files, extract the whole folder they're in. Because that folder is the .iso file. What you did was you opened the iso and extracted its contents. So just do that, and put the .iso file into the ISO folder, and it should work.

Right. So what your saying is the game i have. There are Multiple files. And one of them folders is called Iso. With the Psp_Game and Umd_Data. So i just get the Iso folder and put it in.
I have to put that in? I just Made an Iso folder in the psp and put the games in and it did not work so i have to put the whole Iso folder?

I don't know why, but for some reason, iso files are unzippable. what you did was you opened the iso file and extracted the files in it.
Go into the zip, and extract the iso file. When its done, the file should be a .iso. Put that file into the ISO folder on your psp, and it should work.

Do i extract the iso folder straight to my psp? Does while using devhook to load the game the psp have to be connected to the computer?

You can unzip it right to the psp if you want to. And no, the psp does not have to be connected. Once the iso is on the psp, you can play it anywhere you go.

Yep, but since you extracted to your desktop already, just drag it into the ISO folder.

Ok thnaks. I have strted a new thread and that was the problem that my devhook once loaded turned my psp in german. i have had a reply to and been told that i have the german version and told download the english version. Currently i still have German version im not planning on changing it at the moment would this be ok for the iso loading? Thanks for your help Much appericated

I don't think it matters what version you have, you will probably still be able to load the iso. lol

Ok. Sending it now. I will tell u results in 10-15 Mins. Big size. If i compress the file it will be a cso right? and it will got in the same place Iso folder ? Thanks

Ok. Followed you way. I sent it. No idea. It didnt work. I dragged that file to the Iso folder. So when i connect it to the computer the Psp box Comes up. Then theres the Iso folder. Open that and theres another Iso folder which has the Win rar file in it?
