PSP 4 GB PRO DUO

Bought a 4 GB Pro Duo on e-Bay for $76.00 & my PSP does not recognize it is inserted. Would you guess it is a bad Pro Duo or won't the PSP handle a 4 GB stick?

first format it to times then take it out of the psp and it put it back in

90 percent of the memsticks on ebay are fakes anyhow.

or you can clean out the memory stick slaut with a swab and the try to hard reset with the memory stick already in the system
