what is the file format for a "regular CD" as in normal CD players? like CD's one would buy in the store. I have a bunch of MP3's that I want to change so I can play them in my regular CD player, but not sure what to change them to. Thanks!

audio CDs use a format called linear-PCM. they run at a sample rate of 44.1Khz with a 16 bit depth. any burning app like Nero will automatically convert your compressed files to audio CD format when burning. just select the "create audio CD" option to burn, then drag your files over and Nero will do the rest.

For the best quality mp3s use EAC (exact audio copy) to rip your audio CDs and LAME to encode them. Follow this guide:
