i jut got the lite-on shw-160P6S...same drive except the 165 is light scribe.... i like mine so faronly 6 burns on it so far.. im still learning the drive. but it seems to be a good one... i got a few question about the booktype/bitsetting when useing clonedvd2? but im happy with it. alot of people here at AD have this same drive and have good results

Just want choose from PHILIPS PBDV1660B and Lite-ON SHM-165H6S-05C.

I'd go with Lite On on principal that they are better drives.
