Got this one the first day and all what I can say is that it is amazing. It is the best mortal kombat game of all kinds. You play more then 60 characters you can make your own fatality and the fighting system is the best!

It is good right enough, especially being able to create your own characters & fatalities.

No I never said it was out for ages I just said I got it out on the first day. And it actually officially comes out in 5 hours....

I tend to be wary of the new 3D MK games as I haven't really liked any of them, but I might check this one out if its really this good.
I cover my bases...

This one is the best mortal kombat game. I played all of them and I think this is the best. It isint like a story mode game their main focus is one on one fighting and it is really good.

LOL this game is not where its at...all the charactors are great, but the fatality system is pure crap! Why did people like Mortal Kombat in the old days? Answer: EVERY CHARACTOR HAD THEIR OWN UNIQUE FATALITIES! There is no point in beating the game with everybody...there are no real endings, and the fact Scorpion can bust the same fatalities as Goro is lame as hell. Decent game, Deception is far superior.

Afraid I have to disagree with you there. For the fatalities did you performe a "killer fatality"? Because that is the actual fatality.... Midway was actually proud of the new fatality system they thought it was better then just entering in a code.

Have you played the game? Doesnt sound like it....all dudes have the same fatality choices...you can string them together however you want, but they are still the same! Dont care how Midway feels about the system, a lot of people are disappointed, MK is MK because of unique fatalities. With that Goro Scorpion comment.....if you played the game and read what i said or ANY reviews, you would get that all the charactors have the same fatality sets....meaning they bust the same fatalities, which is more lame then dudes at a Star Trek convention.

Yeh,
They all share the same fatalities, and they are classed:
Starter
While holding opponent 1 arm
While holding opponent 2 arms
Transition him to another dizzy
Opponent turned around
Opponent on knees
With sword (only Subzero and Scorpion)
Its a good game, but it only limit them to 2 fighting style, "Main hand 2 hand" and "Weapon"
IMO, Deadly alliance was better.

I never said that they didint... And yes I own the game.
All what I said was that they changed the fatality system. I never said that it was better. I just said the guys at midway thought it was better. And before I said that I never new that scorpions fatality was the same as goro's that's all. You still like the game right? I thought that the fighting was good and the konquest mode is different but I still liked it. And tell me that making a character and playing online isint cool?

Yeah dont get my wrong face, its a good game....just a slight disappointment after Deception....less fighting styles, odd fatality system etc. All the charactors are awesome, im a MK nut and love seeing all my old favorites, but at the end, I got bored after an hour. i played Deception for hours on end just to see individual fatalities, no point here cause there are none. Making a charactor is cool, but I dont play online so I cant comment. Again, good game, just bums me out Midway changed what has worked so well in the past.

Oh ok. Have you played MK shalion monks before? And the konquest mode is weird you can only be the one character that it gives you I forget what it is called.

Yeah imo konquest is the best part! I liked Shaolin Monks, pretty fun. You have to admit though, the konquest in Armageddon is a hell of a lot better than the ones in Deadly Alliance and Deception.

Yeah i really liked it still though it just took some getting used to after playing shalion mons because it is a lot different the graphics, gameplay etc. But now I've come to really like the konquest mode I kind of got hooked on it. I alos like how you face mortal kombat characters and pick up lot's of items for them. But it seems that they went back to the mortal kombat deception graphics because there a lot different between shalion monks and armegeddon. Oh yeah one other thing there was no you vs the computer one-on-one mode in shalion monks so I m glad they fixed that in armegeddon.

yea this is the reason I chilled out on M.K the last one I played was shaolin monks which was pretty tight I have been playin Mortal Kombat since #1 so ive beatin alot of asses ! but one thing I will say is if you played the 1st one 2nd on up they seem the same but updated graphics and mini games. most have the same finishing moves that knock off heads and pull out the skull or what not but I still give midway props for at least stayin in the game this long . at least they kept it real shit capcom is fallin off with Street Fighter they need to take notes . Lol I might have to pull out my harpoon from retirement and get this one cause Face is talkin mad ISH!. I do like the graphics they look very good on the new style M.K's

Well I beat mortal kombat armegeddon in less then 3 days lol forgot to say that and I unlocked everything. Yeah I also was playing mortal kombat since number 1 and I played and beat them all.

lmfao man I gave up on finishing moves I put the codes in so all you have to do is the uppercut and it does the fatalities for you lol save alot of time!

Fatalities that is easy like blacGoku in story mode if they are dased then just uppercut them and then it will say fatalitiy. But on one-on-one fighting you dont hae to do a fatality either but when it says finish him you just have to do a number of combo like the fatalitys different for some people....
