There many different types of homebrew.
Theres the sega genesis emulator to play Sega Genesis games
N64 emulator play Nintendo 64 games on the psp
I think theres a Playstation 1 emulator too.
Dreamcast emulator.
If you want the games you have to download the roms from the sites google will give you when you search for roms
Example: Google search: Sega Genesis rom games
Download the roms, and your off with many good types of homebrew.

PSP life: 1.00 > 1.50 > 2.00 > 2.50 > 2.60 > 2.71 > 2.81 >> 1.50 > 3.03 OE-C > 3.52 M33-3 > 3.90 M33-3 > 5.00 M33-6 - Trying to go back to 3.90 M33-3 but no one will help me :(
By the way my PSP is BRICKED if any nice person wants to help revive my psp please message me or answer one of my threads.

There is no dreamcast emulator for the psp. Sorry DCP_PSP. One of the best in my opinion and im sure quite a few others would have to devhook. which is a firmware emulator/iso loader.

No, someone is currently working on a Dreamcast emulator, the guy said its going to take awhile though.

Its never going to happen then. Hell the psp cant emulate 64 at full speed and the dreamcast is more powerful then the 64. you should throw up a link i wanna read about it.

lol i like dcp always makeing me laugh an yeah the dreamcast is way to stong i mean it was pose to be battlein ps2 untill sega company fell off :( sadest day of my life
and back on topic my favorite hombrew for the psp would be mario war just load it with irshell so u dont need to listen to the wack music and your good 2 go fool

i heard the dreamcast emulator is going to be a homebrew fil but will work for 3.0 like the ps1 emulator should but thats far off to the future
For a While i have escaped time but to return when they need you most to come back on a vendetta like a have thats just simply MAGIC!

yeah only time can tell but sure would be nice since ther wont be any missing bottuns :) unlike the psx crap i dont know why any one would even want ps1 games they had such crappy graphix great game's!! but crappy graphix

i wouldnt say that star i mean look at the 2.71 special edition or what eva they call it i bet a few month ago we would have been like thats impossible but now look

This guy's bullshitting though that he knows his fake "emulator" will work on 3.0. I'm not denying it's possible, but c'mon.
Also, Sony's got all the marbles riding on the PSP this fall. This new firmware will have been tested so thoroughly that it's not even funny. It's do or die time and they can't have another screwup with their firmwares.

yeah i here thier going to work with 3.0 but long as i have all my 1.5's im happy lol
and yeah i kinda agree the dreamcast is way to high tect for the psp to emulate sony would have to make a new psp with way more tech to let us emulate a dreamcast i mean look how low tech ps1 was and they still havein trouble with it

@supastar if its a homebrew emulator well if 3.0 is suppose to have a ps1 emulator with mgs and other favs that sony is putting on it so it wouldnt be that hard for someone to first hack into that emulator to lead on to the dreamcast one

i dont know about that magic i mean the dreamcast was wayyyy above the ps1 in graphix sound and more if its takein so much trouble just to run ps1 games i highly doubt they will even be able to touch dreamcast till the psp2 come out or something and good luck trying to hack that

Exactly. "That sony is putting on it". It's not some Average Joe's emulator that he coded. It's an official PS1 Emulator designed and developed by Sony itself.

Hacking firmwares may seem "easy" but I can gurantee it takes a helluva lot more work than you think. Also, when Sony's got everything for the future of the PSP riding on this firmware, I doubt it's gonna be something that'll take a "day or two to hack".

i never said it would be easy and knowing from one of my friends that developed a homebrew app it would be hard
and they do have everything riding but in a way if you think about it they would look forward to a hack to push them to psp2
