I recently upgraded DVD Fab to version 3.0.2.0 and it just simply refuses to remove the macrovision. (out of memory error suing recode) Now I can do a clean uninstall and re-install 2.9.8.3 and everything works fine. (no error message from recode everything works great!) I have tried older macrovision encoded titles & newer ones as well, and 3.0.2.0 fails EVERY time while 2.9.8.3 shreads right through them. Both versions indicate that file was saved successfully, only 2.9.8.3 will run through recode. Any help would be appreciated. I know that I can use Vob Blanker to clean things up, but up until I loaded 3.0.2.0 I rarely have had to use it. I have done a fresh re-install of Nero with latest upgrades as well & that hasn't helped either. Clean uninstalls both times using both Nero clean tools. Any ideas?

Try Beta 3.0.2.2;
Link
What's New:
3.0.2.2 Beta (10/09/2006)
- New: Parse both UDF and ISO9660 file system, and choose the correct one
to read DVD.
- New: Added support for a new Sony ARccOS protection as found on
"Silent Hill" (R2, Germany).
Note: The new protection uses wrong file system, so it cannot be played
on some DVD players, but backup disc can be played for sure.
- New: Added "Advanced Title Settings" to control "Title Playback Order" and "Chapter Range".
- New: Added "Chapter Range" feature in "Main Movie" and "Customize".
- Fix: A crash problem when opening PAL DVD in certain cases.
- Fix: Burning doesn't use the speed in Settings.
- Fix: Several minor problems.
- New: Updated language files.

Well Beta version won't touch it either. Ran through Vob Blanker same story. It doesn't matter what title I'm working on. Old or new. Dvdfab just won't touch the macrovision (3.0.2.0) or the new beta. The only thing that I can get to work is 2.9.8.3. Is anyone else having this issue? My concern here is that there will be no other updates on the 2. series. Anyway I would appreciate any help you all could give me. THANKS!

Perhaps you might pose the question on another forum. As knowledgeable as the folks here are, the creator of DVDFab Decrypter hangs around on http://club.cdfreaks.com/ and always replies to problems. There are quite a few posts now on the new version with lots of answers being thrown out. Could be of help to you! AD is still my favorite though...
Forgot to mention...the Fab discussion is under the heading of COPY DVD MOVIE and in a sub-forum in there. Easy to find.

Daman1: Any movie I try. Last night it was "the ringer". I've tied King Kong, Narnia, I even tried Casanova. Every title every time. I've dug into my library & tried older titles as well. Once again 2.9.8.3 works great on all the above mentioned titles just not with anything from the 3. series. It acts like something has corrupted something on my system. I've ran every spyware sweeper & virus checker & driver conflict scan known to man, nothing. Now we loaded 3.0.2.0 on my wife's notebook & everythng worked fine. From what I've been able to gather from searching the forum, everything on my system, firmware, burner settings, drivers, It all looks good. I can go back to 2.9.8.3, just wish the new stuff would work. I love this software just wish the new stuff would work for me. I appreciate all the help!

I did at one time have the demo version of Any DVD installed. I have uninstalled it, ran a reg cleaner, & manual reg deletion & think that I have it removed. I never did see any other drivers still there. Maybe I missed something? Here's the log.

Now the Shrink error indicates there's something in VTS_8-1 & won't open the DVD Fab rip at all.
Is there an ANY DVD driver that I could have missed?
Thanks again!
