Ok i just downloaded nesds so i can pklay some nintenco games on my ds lite. i have a passcard3 with m3 lite and microsd card.
I read the howto/Readme file that came with the nesds download and i dont understand it. can someone help me out here on how to play some nintendo games on my ds. Here is what the text file says........
Quote: * GBA: Run nesDS.exe to build a .DS.GBA file for running from a GBA flash cart.
* NDS: Run make_nds.bat to build a .NDS file that can be run from WiFi download,
GBA Movie Player, etc. For GBAMP, save without adding any roms, and copy .NES
files to the CF card. NDSTOOL.EXE is also required for building NDS files.
This can be found at http://darkfader.net/ds/files/ndstool.exe
oh yeah i already got the ds and gba roms working so i know how game manager works and everything
Download NDSTOOL.exe fropm the link provied an stick it in the same directory as the NESDS files on your computer.
Run make_nds.bat and it should bring up a program to add games directly to the emulator, do this or just click OK to create a .nds file, copy this directly to the M3 without using the gamemanager.
If you did not add ROMs directly earlier, copy them to your M3 now, then plug everything in, load the NES emulator and play.
ok seems less complicated than io originally thought(i didnt download the ndstool.exe and tried all the other stuff and it wouldnt work)....thanks again mr hanky.
One more thing, does it matter where i put the games or emulators on my microsd card? and is pocketnes better than nesds???
Can't you just put the NES rom on the card without a seperate emulator? My Supercard Lite will automatically play NES roms without an emulator or patching, just drag and drop and play.
