I am having a problem ripping the movie 'Click". I tried to use DVD Decryptor, but after ripping I get an error when I tried to burn. Same thing happened when I tried to use Ripit4me with DVD Shrink and Fix VTS. Anyone else have this problem or know of a way to rip it cleanly so that I may burn it????

I did it using DVD Shrink w/Nero, and AnyDVD running in the background. No problems.
If you'll do a search for Click, you'll find other threads on this, and a bunch of suggestions.
Search is your friend.............
Why do people not use it?

use the latest verison of AnyDVD with CloneDVD 2 instead of using DVD Shrink . DVD Shrink will have problems with newer movies even with AnyDVD running in the background where CloneDVD 2 with AnyDVD won't. use this guide

I am having problems burning click as well. I have tried AnyDVD + CloneDVD, ripit4me, 1 clickdvdcopy, dvdfab. none of them seem to work. they are all latest versions. I am running media center 2005 if that makes a diff. when it gets to about 48% it slows down and by the time it reaches 55% it stops. any suggestions?

SubJ, this release has heavy protection on it. i had no problems though . a couple things you might try

1. make sure your firmware is up to date on your drive/burner ,check here

http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_all.php

2. make sure your using the latest verisons of CloneDVD 2 (2.9.0.1) and AnyDVD 6.0.8.0 ,if CloneDVD 2 still fails to transcode the movie try using the AnyDVD ripper(by right clicking the fox icon in your traybar) ripping the movie to your harddrive(Rip Video-dvd to harddisc...)then running it though CloneDVD 2 and burn good luck.

After trying all the different softwares (up to date), that have done it for others, but not for you, I'd say you either have a bad pressing of the movie, or you need to change your blank media, or you have a problem with your hardware.

Currently trying the AnyDVD thing. i think i have tried this already, it's at 47% and has slowed down to 0.2MB/s, with one read error. I dont think it is hardware cause i have ripped other movies since. the movie does play perfect, even it the spot the ripping is having problems at. not sure if thats what you mean by bad press. are there 2 different versions of the movie (ie special vs original)

I have the same problem as subj, I have tried all the latest AnyDVD, dvdshrink, dvdclone, Vob Blanker dvd decryptor software and only get to around 48% then I get a read error. I don't beleive it is a hardware issue ass I have had no problems with other discs. Any ideas?

Just a question - I got it to work with DVD Fab and then Shrink and I also got it to work with RipIt4Me, Vob Blanker, and then Shrink. But in both cases it was only the movie- not the entire disc. Has anyone gotten the entire disc?

I have tried using DVD Decrypter but it gets to 9% and freezes so after reading this forum, I tried CloneDVD 2 and AnyDVD. I followed the guide from aabbccdd but I get a read error when I browse for folder:

Unable to read video files from
E:/VIDEO_TS
E:/VIDEO_TS/VTS_03_0.IFO:
read error

I cleaned the disc but I continue to get the read error. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here is the answer to all your problem's first rip it with the newest version of dvdfab then run all the vts file's through fixvts 1.5 and then drop into DVD Shrink then everything else is the same as always.P.s. make sure when you run fixvts that you highlight all vts file's then click and drag them over and click on full disc.then start.

I had all the same errors and tried all the suggestions listed without any success so I gave up and went upstairs to watch Click. I hate to use my original but everyone else was asleep and "I Never Scratch the DVDs..." so I thought I was somewhat safe. After the movie was over I turned off BeyondTV and ran it through DVD Decrypter and it finished with no errors. The first drive was a Sony Dual Layer and the one it worked on was the $19.99 special at Best Buy the day after Thanksgiving. So try a different drive before giving up...
