I have Nero 7.0.8.3 installed, please which is the best version of Nero and the latest? Should I change???? Thanks in advance!

i'm sure that you 7082; and not even think about changing it, because you have got the best one at the momment. the others are from "some bugs to very buggy."

7.0.8.2 is in my opinion the best, however according to some of our addicts version 7.2.7.0 is performing well also. It's available here

thanks for the info about 7.0.8.2!!!

i am using 7.5.1.1 and it cannot read (or write) dvd +/- RW made by Verbatim- data life.

it identifies it as DVD-R. however, it did work before. i did a clean re-install too.

now i will try this version 7.0.8.2

@ qwendolin. from Nero 7, i'm only intrested in three applications; Recode2 and Nero express to burn, at this point, i have Nero vision express and Recode2. my questions are.
1- how can i only intall recode2 and Nero express to burn?
2- do i need Nero vision express in order to have recode2?
3-where in the whole program is express?

again, i just want recode2 and express to burn.

1- the way i would do it-would uninstall the old Nero using the clean tool. then reboot. then reinstall doing a [bold] custom install [/bold. it is there you would select recode.
2- i do not know
3- if i am right- when you do the custom install - you can select Nero express.

please disregard my earlier comment about Nero.

i found the problem. a very, very bad batch of Verbatim DVD-RW DataLife. i checked them. about 10 of the 20 could not be read. i guess they could have been fakes. i used two different programs for verification. i will not be buying from that online store anymore.
