4 GB memory stick on V. 1.5?

Hi. I have a 4 GB Memory Stick Pro Duo, and a PSP v. 1.5. I have heard that the 4gb card will not work on a PSP v 1.5. What can i do to get it work?

where did you here this i know many people who have a 4gb on thier 1.5's the only thing they said wont work is the 8gb your ganna need 2.81 at least that what i herd i think from hodgins

sony still hasnt released the firmware upgrade that allows for bigger memsticks. 4gb is still the maximum we can use.

And besides who cares if the 8gig requires 2.81, someone's going to hack it :) and dont forget about sandisk memory sticks, those things arent even made by sony (I have a sandisk 1gig but I want a 4gig). If sandisk makes an 8gig its most likely going to not require 2.81. But most likely the sony memory sticks will (unless sony buys out sandisk, which wont happen)

By the way my PSP is BRICKED if any nice person wants to help revive my psp please message me or answer one of my threads.

naw its has nothing to do with the brand from what i here the psp is just not build to handle an 8gb card it only go's up to 4

word man right now i have a 2gig i feel so ashamed i should at least have one 4gig card lol i mean with all the psp's and memory cards i done had not to even mentions the umd games i neva even felt like playing

All I want is the usb host plug in where you make the 2.5 in 100g hd a host. Then you transfer the files back and forth thus giving u 100g or as much as u want, 2gs at a time.

yeah but that thing doesnt actually host the files....it only allows u to transfer files to and from the psp like we're used to with out computers.

i have a 10 inch labtop that stores games for my psp -_-
is there a storage device that lets u run iso straight off the hard drive?
i thot i saw a function on DH ulimate installer about usb something...

Hi big fan of your fourms, they have been a great help.
I have a slight problem with my 4G mem stick i can install dev hook .46 on it but when i start the iso games most of them don't work like they load then freeze. Also my PC is having trouble detecting its size like if i have 1.2GB left it would say 630MB, but on the PSP it shows the actual size.
When i run the games throu the 2G stick they work fine and it even loads faster at times the settings are the same on both. Is it possiable that the stick is faulty or a cheap ematation and how can i find out.
