How do i run Pursuit Force on a 1.5 PSP?

Hi,
I have the the UMD of Pursuit Force, but i cant run it on my PSP. It asks for me to update my firmware! (im on 1.5)
Would it be so bad to update my FW to 2.0?
Is there any way to make it run on my PSP?

download the 2.71 SE(speacial edition

i dunno alot about it but i think u can play 1.5>>>>2.71 games on it...u can also do things with 2.71 and 1.5 combined all in one fw

or u can download the newest version of devhook which lets u emulate 2.71 and u can easily change bac to 1.5....basicly its tricking the psp into making it think its a 2.71 just so u can play your 2.0+ umd games!

What about updating to 2.00..i click on it in my options menu but all i get it a screen with "x" and "o" at the bottom?

you can upgrade to 2.00 if you really want, but i wouldnt recommend it, it then means you cant play all the homebrew and Iso's etc.

nope, didnt upgrade..but my Devhook wont work for me. When i load it into 2.71 it just freezes?

I get a message "The Game Could not be Started. (80020321) "
I used Load Run Umd in 333hz emulating FW 2.71
What did i do wrong?

you dont need to change any settings apart from select umd,thats all you need to alter
