need help with devhook 0.46

ok so I,ve got devhook 0.46 and I put the mod pack in to and I,m not really sure witch one to use to start the game.I tryed both the one that says device hook and it was freezing so I took out battery and tryed device hook psp emulator and it whent to the umd game I tryed again and it said cannot start game corrupted files may be I did,nt put the files in the right place.But I,m sure I could,nt go wrong I just put them your iso and cso files go her. I thought this was supposed to be easy its so frustrating can you help please.

No I don,t want to play from the computer forget that I just want to start the game.I should be more polite cause this is the last place I,m going to get help.Is it because I have a fake 2g memory card Or are the iso files corrupted that should not be I,ve tryed 3 differnt files.Gone mad here.

if you have done everything right on that link sudds gave and it still does not work, format your memory stick and install devhook again. i've had to do it before and worked again afterwards.
you do have a UMD in dont you?

yes I do have a umd in, does it matter what umd it is,anyway the main thing is in the main program setup everything is how it should be except in umd select-"game tittle".iso/cso (select the game your gonna play)there,s nothing there.On the pics with the puzzle bobble file it has iso written on it, my files don,t 2 of my game files have Ifc-sfdm.001 Ifc-sfdm.002 and so on ,the other one has a-macid.001 ect what are these.

You haven't said you have a 1.5 PSP, I'm guessing you have.
The files you are talking about are WinRAR archives. You need WinRAR to decompress them and rebuild the ISO. Just right click on one of the files and select "extract here", that will rebuild the iSO.
For devhook, format your memory stick then use the ultimate installer from http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/673 to install devhook emulating 2.71. Copy the ISO you have to the ISO folder on your memory stick. Run Devhook and select the UMD you want to play then select start. Make sure you have a game UMD in the drive, not a movie.

They are archive files. You need to get WinRAR from rarlabs.com. Then right click on one of the files, preferably the first one, and click 'extract to ...' Or right click and select 'open with' then WinRAR and follow the wizard. The iso will only be picked up by devhook if it is either *.iso *.cso or *.dax. If u need more explaining then that, just say so ;)
lol i'm slow. The umd in your drive has to either be a game or a sample disc...no movies or music umd's will work

Fantastic i have some sucess I think, yeh the games are coming up now but, theres always a but I,d love to get of mine.ITS FREEZING when i try to start them everytime,I had a look at some other threads something about the previous version of devhook worked better or should I re format the memory card again for the third time and reinstall,anyway I appreciate your help I would,nt of come this far with out ya thanks mate.

Yes the clock speed is set 333. I re formated the memory card again and this time with only the one game on it, and it froze up again,I tryed with clock on 222 and the same thing, is it my 2g memory card witch is fake (cause with nothing on it capacity is 1959)or could it be that I,ve bricked it, I hope not.

if it was bricked it wouldnt turn on. thats weird it still freezes on 222 because thats notorious to happen on 333. could be a bad rip tho. do u have a diff game to test it on.

ye I,ve tryed 2 other games they froze aswell, is it worth trying the previous devhook app what ever it is if so where can i get that or could I try the 32mb card that came with the psp and use fastloader and do it in sections whitch all sounds a bit confusing for me.Apart from that i dont know what else to do.

dont use fastloader. maybe all ur games are bad rips. but u can try an older version of devhook from psp-hacks.com go to downloads - firmware - firmware emulators. see if that helps.

O.K I,ll try that what is the previous devhook called and could you tell me where to put the folders please and i have heard about upgrading from 1.5 to 2.0 and back again to fix errors , what is this can that be confirmed.
