Its up to you because you cant Downgrade to 1.0 because you use the gameboot to start the Downgrade.
So its Up to you If you want 2.8.

then your stuck for the moment, unless a dev comes up w/ a fix for this. u could try trading it somewhere, for a working one? like buy and return at EBgames or Babbages.

if they check the XMB only you'll be fine, if they check farther, you might be screwed....here's another possibility, find out if there are any umd games that use they're own gameboots, maybe pop, and u could possibly load homebrew if that umd is in the drive i dunno though......

Your only chance is if someone is able to make a tif exploit for 1.5 because that doesn't execute the gameboot. Something that would corrupt the font files or something so your psp re-flashed itself. But that would be highly unlikely lol....i'd say you;d better sell your psp, unless you want a very expensive mp3/mp4 player lol

Don't feel like reading the other posts... try and rebooting it several times(at least 5) than try it, if it doesn't work take out the battery and put it back in and try it. Don't know how the heck you can even brick a 1.5?? Everything is given to you,,

All you need to do with a 1.5 is just download the progs and stick them in the right folders, but ya now I can see how it's possible to brick it....

well the easiet way would be to flash an improperly made file. or accidentally deleting somethin from the flash that needs to be there for the psp to run.
