My psp can't read the umd disk how to fix it
please help me

if its coming up with that error you have a umd movie from the wrong region to that of your psp,only way to fix it is to get a umd movie the same region as your psp

first it did it always but now it didn't work

it works with some versions of devhook and not with others because chaos zero's package of devhook used japanese firmware files...other manual DIY install packages of devhook used US firmware files. You could take out the firmware files are reinstall your own with the US update and it should work. I had the same problem but I said screw it. I got UMD games so I just used those.

i dont know if there is devhook .46 that uses US firmware files. I know some of the older ones do tho.

Its one of the earlier versions devhook that u installed urself. but like i said i could be wrong. do you not own a UMD Game, it would be easier to use that.

format and reinstall devhook. there should be no problem with using a game because there is no region encoding on games.

yea but now it gives an red ligt in the umd disc
the reader doesn't read the disk :(
